Tangle Me This! Sketchbook

I finally completed my first Tangle Me This! Sketchbook. I began working in it when we started our adventure in November 2015 to Thailand and Vietnam. I continued working on it when I got home and now that we've moved to Thailand and are all settled in to our apartment... I finally completed this book.

That's 50 pages of art! I love seeing how I taught myself to use watercolours within the pages. Watching my experience unfold. Seeing how my art changed from being in Asia.

Now as I begin my second Tangle Me This! Sketchbook (a green one this time) I am seeing how I'm adding in the use of my coloured pencils for shading instead of using graphite. (and in some cases using my coloured watercolour graphite pencils).

Anyway... here's the art at the end of one Sketchbook and the beginning of another!

(I had the absolute pleasure of having my eldest son come to visit me in my new home... and so I created one piece while listening to him create music on his guitar. What a lovely day... )

This is the last page of my Sketchbook. I felt like I had come "full circle" from my adventure of visiting Thailand to living here!

This is the first piece in my new Sketchbook. A common saying here "Same same (but different)"

My son was my inspiration for this piece.
