Some zen and tangling... in Thailand

Hi Everyone... it's been a interesting adventure so far... moving to Thailand.

First off... the weather has been 38 degrees almost every day since we arrived and next month is the hottest month of the year so it's going to get even hotter!!!

We walk everywhere and are loving our new home. We live in a little community in north west Chiangmai. There's a lovely papaya salad stall right below our balcony and a fresh fruit smoothie place next door. Who could ask for anything more?

We've settled in nicely - still need to buy a couple of things but we are pretty much set up.

There's an art store with almost everything I can possibly need or want a mere 20 minute walk away!!!

And on the bottom floor of the same mall... is a vegetarian 'stall' with well over 20 different dishes. We are in heaven!

Here's a few of the pieces I drew today. Finally had a day to relax and draw...

We are going to join an expat group here and I'm hoping to start up a Zentangle Group there... it'll be fun to share my passion with others.

Here's a couple of pics of some pieces I did in Hong Kong during our 20 hour layover.

Watercolour Zentangle Class and more to come!

Yesterday we had more fun that should be allowed in a class!!!

We gathered around the table and learned about different ways to watercolour. OH MY GOSH we had a blast!!!

I don't have any mosaics - as we forgot to put any together. There was just so much teaching happening and sharing and joy... and and and...

So here's a pic of the table before we began!

I have received a lot of feedback from my students for more classes from me. So...

I will teach via Skype (or I may use Zoom) once I'm settled in Thailand.

If you get a little group together I will be there virtually and teach you tangles, give you insight, some laughter, a lot of zen...  you know... the usual stuff you get in a class from me!

The cost is $60 per student (plus taxes) and if you are interested contact me @ and we can set something up!

It's been an absolute pleasure teaching each and every one of you this past year and... may it continue!!!

My Last Black Tile Class

I taught my last Black Tile Class this weekend. We had a blast. This group learned so fast! We covered a lot of information and had a great time tangling.

Here are the mosaics:
