Faber-Castell Water Soluble Graphite Pencils

Ok... I picked up some Faber-Castell Water Soluble Graphite Pencils the other day and decided to play with them. I also used the Koi Watercolour Travel Brush - love the idea that I have clean water with me in the chamber of the brush!

I created this piece and tried out the new pencils. It gives a very "painted" look to the piece.

I found that the process worked best when I scribbled with the 8B pencil on a paper and then wet it and brought the graphite wet over to the piece of art.

I added normal graphite pencil to the piece as well to create a darker line between the 'tunnels/towers'.  (Crescent Moon is the name of this tangle.)
